Reading is an art of doing research and filtering information which
demands understanding and analyzing skills. To inculcate reading habit is the
quality of a person to learn and appreciate the world. Reading helps one to
become an ethically dependable and a better human being. Through reading a
person can discover the value of life and can get engaged in a constructive
way. Reading not only improves understanding and speaking but also the writing
skills. It is the best and the preliminary step to become a good writer. A
person who has a habit of reading can be more expressive and confident.
Reading a book of interest, comic or anything improves literacy and
drives the sensation in literacy. Whereas there are many people who think that
writing well and learning how to write well develops literacy. Obviously
writing has an impact of our personality but reading truly makes us literate.
Even the thought of staring at words and turning them into thoughts and ideas
makes our brain work. Writing comes only after reading. To become a good writer
one has to read more and understand the ways and guidelines of writing.

power. The more we think and analyze, the more we develop our reading as well

cultures across the world. Being open to the elements of diverse way of life, readers
get to know more about human dynamics. Reading can also become a hobby which
can be a good habit to spend the leisure time. But nowadays student and any
other professionals do not read for leisure, reading has now become a compelled
thing. No one prefers to read unless they are asked to. Reading for leisure is
dying with time and modernization. Nowadays teachers have to force a student to
read and write. This means that the importance of reading anything of value is
being disregarded. Social media hinders people’s ability to experience worthy
literary works. So read to write, and read to explore. Reading has no limits
and rules.
